HAPPY TINTH!

This year, Chris and I celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary!!
Apparently, the traditional gift is tin.
It's strong and flexible at the same time. Or something like that.
It's been nothing but roses for the past 10 years!
('cause there were some pretty big thorns we had to deal with together along the way, ya know.
By the way, thanks for the kidney ;)
I love you sweetheart!

For our honeymoon, we went to Seattle. I wanted to see some real rain.

It didn't rain a drop while we were there though.

It was beautiful and sunny.

Chris made it up to me by sprinkling a bowl of hot pepper flakes out our hotel window up on the _th floor.

10 years later, Chris went back to Seattle.

Why?
you might ask.

To interview

here:

But wait, you ask. I thought Pixar was in northern California?

You are right.

He was interviewed by the 15 people in the world who work on

Renderman

(Ya, I don't get it either.)

in Seattle.

The head of Renderman approached Chris and asked him to join the team.
After much thinking and praying by all of us, we have decided it is the right thing.

So.

That means we're going to pack up and move!

We ARE excited, just a bit nervous.

Congratulations! We are so excited for you guys. My sister loves living in Seattle. Makenzie wants Elle to know that she misses her and that she wants to see her soon. :) Have fun with your new adventures and living by my sister lucky duck. If you live in Renton you'll most likely be in her ward.

Whoooo!! Congratulations that is awesome!!

I've only spent a weekend in Seattle, but I thought it was great! You can go to Pike Place and watch them throw fish at people.

So, is it a permanent move or will you guys go back to LA once the movie is done?

You know, I believe Seattle has an abandoned city beneath the city. Strange deal. But true. Here is a link to check out www.undergroundtour.com

I think some previous renderman staff live in the underground city. (that's the rumor about what happens to disgruntled employees, how else do you think you got the job?)

Say hi to the Crane Brothers (Dr. Frasier Winslow Crane and Dr. Niles Crane)!!
